Will there be transportation from the ceremony to the reception?
Yes! Parking is extremely tight in Georgetown. We recommend using a taxi or ride share service to get to the ceremony. We will have shuttles from Christ Church to the Hay-Adams afterwards.
What is the dress code?
Black tie
Are children allowed to join for the reception?
We kindly request that this celebration be adults-only. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Do you have a hotel block?
Yes! We have blocks at two hotels within walking distance of the Hay-Adams: the Sofitel (806 15th St NW) and the St. Regis (923 16th St NW).
What's the best way to get to DC?
For those arriving by plane, we recommend flying in to Washington National (DCA), which is 4.7 mi from the Hay-Adams. Dulles (IAD, 27 mi away) and Baltimore-Washington (BWI, 35 mi away) are further. Amtrak's Union Station is 1.8 mi away.
